HAFNER oscillating valves have proven themselves for years in the process and chemical industries, as well as in the food, pharmaceutical, and packaging industries. They are used whenever applications involve actions such as shaking, tapping, dipping, or extending and retracting in combination with double-acting cylinders.
Operating principle
When compressed air is applied to port 1, the outlet ports 2 and 4 are alternately supplied with compressed air. The speed of the actuated cylinder, and thus the stroke frequency, can be adjusted by throttling the exhaust air - for example, using flow regulation silencers or block form flow regulators.
