HAFNER quick-exhaust-block SENR 207 01 TT

For a customer in the chemical industry, we developed a quick-exhaust-block with a permanent spring chamber purging function.

The block is equipped with a pressure regulator preset to 0.2 bar, ensuring a permanent positive pressure in the spring chamber of the pneumatic actuator. In addition to the integrated non-return valve, this continuous supply of clean compressed air prevents ambient air from entering the actuator during switching operations. As a result, the spring chamber remains permanently protected against the ingress of contaminated surrounding air.

The quick exhaust block also features an additional pressure gauge port, allowing the actuator pressure to be monitored at any time.

Operating principle

  • P = Connection for the 3/2-way pilot-valve; either externally piped via a G1/4″ port
    or directly mounted using the NAMUR 1 interface
  • 2 = Connection to the actuator chamber
  • 3 = Connection to the spring chamber
  • FS = External compressed air supply for the permanent spring chamber purging
  • M = Optional pressure gauge port for pressure monitoring
  • R = Quick exhaust ports
