The SIL 3 (Safety Integrity Level 3) certification is a measure of risk reduction for safety-critical systems, particularly in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and transportation. It indicates that a system or component can perform its safety functions with a high level of reliability, reducing the risk of failure to a very low level. SIL 3 certification ensures that strict safety standards are met, making it suitable for systems where safety is critical, and human lives could be at risk.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS). It is based on principles such as customer focus, leadership, process approach, and continual improvement.
